VideoFresh Now Accepts Cryptocurrency Payments

Over the course of the last year, terms like Crypto, Metaverse, NFTs, DeFi, Web3 and DAO’s have become pretty common.

As a creative company, we are really excited to see this space grow. Not only do we see it as a paradigm shift for the creative community, we see it as an opportunity for those committed to a decentralized world to make a difference for example in how the distribution of wealth can be spread to more than just the top few % of society.

A newly released report by Crypto.com  revealed interesting cryptocurrency adoption trends. Specifically surrounding crypto payment integration. According to the survey, interest exists for crypto payments with 75% of consumers and 60% merchants wanting to transact in cryptocurrency. With only 4% of surveyed merchants accepting crypto as a method of payment today, there is a significant gap to fulfilling this customer demand. The number of crypto users around the globe surpassed 295 million in December 2021 with the numbers growing at a double-digit rate.

Another indication of the emergence of crypto payment acceptance is that payment giant Stripe has re-entered the crypto space after four years, with the launch of a suite of products to support crypto businesses, including exchanges, on-ramps, wallets, and non-fungible token (NFT) marketplaces. Millions of companies in over 120 countries use Stripe to start, run, and scale their businesses, including Amazon, Google, Shopify, Microsoft, Spotify, Uber, and Nasdaq.

With this backdrop, and since VideoFresh is a company that is committed to providing exceptional customer service, we feel that offering a cryptocurrency payment option to our clients fits into that criteria. To this end we are excited to announce that we in the process of implementing the acceptance of crypto payments for our services. We are also researching the possibility of offering our video subscription packages via dynamic NFTs.
